Congrats! Rudolf Lábán Prize 2023 for Harmonia

Harmonia has been awarded the Rudolf Lábán Prize 2023 for the best dance production in Hungary on 10 May 2023 in Budapest! The Rudolf Lábán Prize is one of the most important dance prizes in Hungary. It was established in 2005 by the Trafó and the MU Theatre and has since been awarded annually by a jury of critics to outstanding personalities and works of the dance scene.

From the jury's statement: "What Adrienn Hód and her colleagues have created in collaboration with the artistic team and the dancers of Unusual Symptoms / Theater Bremen is a new chapter in the series of works with mixed-abled ensembles that is also outstanding by international standards," Krall continued in the laudation, "on Hód's stage there is complete equality: We are not only witnesses to the boundary crossings of performers with non-normative abilities, but are also confronted with the fragility and fallibility of dancers with normative physiques, often in situations where they can learn from their disabled colleagues."

Harmonia will perform at the Potsdamer Tanztage on 06 and 07 June 2023 at the fabrik Potsdam.
